Li Xi appointed Guangdong CPC chief, replacing Hu Chunhua

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Saturday said it has appointed Li Xi as the secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC, replacing Hu Chunhua.

Li will no longer serve as secretary of the CPC's Liaoning Provincial Committee.
