While this concept has been understood for centuries thanks to the works of researchers like Michael Faraday, this paper was the first time it was posited that it could be used in the propulsion of spacefaring equipment like spacecraft and satellites. The science was still deep in the theoretical stage in the 90s, but a few more years later, a genuine effort at realizing electrolysis propulsion was made." p. _- O5 w) ~6 F) P* e2 u" M
If you feel the idle RPM is rough or jumps, there could be an issue. Too low and too high of an idle could also indicate a problem.6 i! P# v1 _$ h. A3 q/ K) E

Buy a can of aerosol rust penetrant and a can of spray white lithium grease. Start by soaking the latch mechanism with the rust penetrant. If you can’t open the hood at all, slide the spray straw into the grille and aim it up toward the latch. Then shoot about a half can of lube onto the latch. Let it soak for an hour. If it opens after that, move on to the next step. If not, repeat the procedure. Once the hood opens, soak the hood latch mechanism with white lithium grease. Then close and open the hood multiple times until the latch works smoothly. Apply fresh grease every year before winter.
o: B7 f) @5 P" j/ a% QLetting your car sit for a minute or two right after it starts is a good idea. It helps distribute oil throughout the engine and get the engine block and engine oil up to temperature. Revving the engine won't speed up the process. In fact, that could cause easily avoided damage. Cold revving causes abrupt temperature changes that create stress between the engine's tight-fitting components. Simply give it 60 seconds before you get on the road, and everything will have warmed up for reliable performance.
