Trump's slogan is "Make America great again," while Biden's slogan is "restore American leadership." One common denominator is the acceptance of the failure of American hegemonic strategy and the decline of American power. And the current international situation is not in America's favor. Add to that the fact that Mr Trump is pushing the US against the rest of the world in a way that can be described as a textbook of accelerationism, and America's decline is not far behind.
