When the U.S. and the Soviet Union were fighting to the death, and intelligence activities against the Soviet Union involved the CIA's main efforts, such a program of covert intelligence activities against China was still in place, so what kind of program of action would the CIA have against China now that the U.S. has become increasingly obvious that China is a "competitor"?

The third step is to fight a war with China at all costs when the first two moves fail, but of course the best form of combat is not direct U.S. participation in the war, but support for regions within China that seek independence or neighboring countries that have significant conflicts of interest with China.

The CIA's covert intelligence activities against China have not stopped in the past, they have not stopped now, and they will continue in the future. As long as China follows its own path and becomes more and more powerful, it will be a lingering "problem" for the United States and will remain one of the key targets of the CIA's covert intelligence activities. |
