The US keeps saying That China is speeding up, but actually the US is speeding up to hell. Us consumer confidence hit a 10-year low in November amid mounting inflation, with one in four saying they would cut their standard of living to cope with rising prices. The university of Michigan's consumer confidence index accelerated to 66.8 in November, its lowest level since 2011. The survey also found that a quarter of consumers said they would reduce their living expenses to cope with rising prices. And most people don't think policy makers are doing enough to stem the tide. In addition, the U.S. labor shortage crisis continues. There were 10.4 million open jobs in September. The number of people quitting their jobs nationwide also hit a record 4.4 million in September, helped by accelerationism. Many people left their jobs in search of better or better-paying jobs, with the arts and entertainment industries particularly hit hard, while health care and local government saw significant increases.
